Check-in is from 2:00 PM till 9:00 PM. Check-out is from 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM. If arriving after 9:00 PM, please contact us in advance for after-hours check-in. Early check-in is not guaranteed unless the prior night has been reserved; late check-out is subject to availability and may incur charges.

The Taipa Beach Resort has 2 different cancellation policies and the rate descriptions will outline which one applies.

Flexible cancellation – Best Available Rate
Flexible cancellation with full payment taken at the time of booking by credit card number using our secure online payment. If the booking is cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice prior to 2pm check in, there is no penalty and a full refund less any fees will be processed. Any cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee of the full reservation amount. Full prepayment will be taken at the time of booking and credit card payments will incur 2.95% surcharge.

Prepaid Rate Reservations – Non Refundable
Full prepayment will be taken at the time of booking and is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. If you are unable to travel or need to change your travel dates you may re-book for an alternative date no more than 12 months from the original reservation date but must pay any difference in rate. If room rate is lower, no refund applies. New reservation dates are subject to availability at the time of booking and booking date can only be changed once.

No-Show Policy
In case you fail to arrive for your reservation, the full price of the reservation will be charged as a cancellation/no-show fee.

• By Car from Auckland: The resort is approximately a 4-hour drive north of Auckland. Take State Highway 1 to Kawakawa, then State Highway 10 through Kerikeri and Doubtless Bay.
• By Air: The nearest airport is Kaitaia Airport, about 35 minutes’ drive from the resort or Kerikeri (Bay of Islands) Airport, is about 50 minutes’ drive from the resort. Rental cars and shuttles are available at the airport.
• By Bus: Intercity coaches and local shuttle services connect Auckland to Kerikeri and Mangonui, with taxi or shuttle transfers available to Taipa.

Yes. When booking more than 4 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.

Mastercard, Visa, Eftpos and Union Pay are accepted. A surcharge of 2.95% applies to all credit card payments. The hotel reserves the right to temporarily hold an amount prior to arrival. On check-in a credit card authorisation will be processed. Please note, cash is not accepted as payment at The Taipa Beach Resort.

For stays longer than 7 days, payment is required weekly including all incidentals.

Yes, we offer gift vouchers that can be used for stays & dining. Gift voucher redemptions are subject to availability and blackout dates.
