Our Bar, Restaurant & Café stretches along the beach front and with its magnificent glass façade, it offers alfresco dining in an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere.
In the kitchen, the team of talented chefs, constantly strive to create food to nourish and delight guests and locals alike. For your big day choose from a variety of catering options including buffet choices, pre-wedding canapes and après wedding nibbles. The Resort can cater for your wedding party of up to 150.
Onsite we have a popular café, award-winning restaurant and bars perfect for all your guest meal requirements before and after your wedding.
Accommodation
Our 36 spacious studios and suites offer luxury accommodation. With air-conditioning and Sky Guest Select, they are perfect to cater for all your guest requirements. Choose from a stunning beachfront view or tropical garden view on the poolside.
The luxurious Pacific Suite (complete with private spa pool) is ideal for getting the wedding party all glammed up for your special day and perfect to utilise as your suite for the evening.
Accommodation for your guests is offered at a package price dependent on season and the number of rooms booked.
Our Location
Taipa Beach Resort is beautifully situated in a tranquil beach location with spectacular views over Kari Kari Peninsula and Doubtless Bay. Taipa itself is only minutes north of both Cooper’s Beach and Mangonui. If you wish to journey slightly further, heading west leads to Kaitaia, due south to the buzz of the Bay of Islands and don’t forget north to the Cape.
Approximately a 4 hour drive from Auckland, just head north on State Highway 1. Whangarei is half way, pass through Kawakawa and take the Pakaraka turn-off onto State Highway 10 (Do not head to Kaikohe). Continue north past Kerikeri through Kaeo. We are 7kms north of Mangonui just across the one-way bridge. Take the first turn on the right into Taipa Point Road and the Resort is located at the end of this road on the left.
